OCRF

OCRF Facts
Currently, there is no early detection method and there has been limited development in the area of ovarian cancer in the past decade. Most women diagnosed with ovarian cancer are already in the advanced stages of the disease, which is a direct result of late diagnosis. One Australian woman dies every ten hours from ovarian cancer.

The White Shirt Campaign 2009
Witchery has a proud and extensive history of supporting the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF), raising more than $1.5million for the cause.

"The ongoing support for this campaign has been immense. We are very grateful to the public and hope, by expanding our collection, that we will raise significant funds for the OCRF," said Witchery CEO Mr Iain Nairn.

Following on from the launch of Witchery Man, Witchery is also excited to announce the introduction of two menswear items within the White Shirt Campaign While ovarian cancer is a disease that affects women, it also carries a significant and direct impact for men. Without at least one healthy ovary, a child will not be born. Therefore ovarian cancer is a disease has a significant impact on the community.

"In addition to this year's exciting womenswear collection, we hope that by introducing menswear into the White Shirt Campaign we can raise even more funds and awareness for ovarian cancer," said Witchery CEO, Mr Iain Nairn. "This expansion of the range further illustrates Witchery's ongoing commitment to ovarian cancer research."
